About This Job:
The Associate is responsible for the delivery and management of a broad range of Human Resources and organizational strategy/change management projects. As a consultant, the individual assists the Principal and Senior Associate in managing client relationships, tasks and assignments. Incumbent performs related work as assigned
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Associate is responsible for the delivery and management of a broad range of Human Resources and organizational strategy/change management projects. As a consultant, the individual assists the Principal and Senior Associate in managing client relationships, tasks and assignments. Incumbent performs related work as assigned
Example tasks include, assisting clients with compensation analysis, recruiting, job audits, creating job descriptions, developing performance evaluation systems, performing research, developing reports, analyzing data, creating and managing project plans,  and develop employee manuals.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of three to five years of previous consulting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have previous experience of successfully leading projects from start to finish. Must have solid experience with Microsoft Excel.
 
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret budgets, financial reports, operating schedules, and governmental regulations.  Ability to conduct research.  Ability to write proposals, narrative reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals that are generally error free.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
 
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and basic statistical data and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
 
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, database and internet).  Must be able to learn other information systems, or computer software as necessary.
 Other Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of:
  • Organizational planning
  • Project Management principles and methodology
 Skill in:
  • Analyzing administrative, operational and organizational problems, evaluating alternatives and reaching sound conclusions; and
  • Client relationship management.
