About This Job:
Small real estate investment company looking for a FULL-TIME assistant who is available to work steady hours (M-F, approx 9-5pm in EST), with possibility for some overtime work and availability to monitor communications as-needed outside business hours.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include some or all of the following depending on business needs and contractor experience/preference: take incoming phone calls, interact with tenants & municipalities over email and phone, appointment scheduling, data entry/bookkeeping of utility bills, interact with online project management software and property management software, and special projects. Instructions will be provided. Assistant would work with existing personnel to help keep projects on track and update information in online databases.

Must have reliable phone line, reliable internet, 100GB free space on computer to sync files. Familiarity with Word, Adobe Acrobat and Google spreadsheet, and ability to learn other online software programs that we use. Needs to be very responsive to emails and contacts during working hours.

Entry-level position but looking for long-term hire, with room to grow with the company. Pay negotiable based on experience level.
Requirements & Qualifications:
We are looking for 2 general assistance VAs, and 1 that has existing accounting knowledge and/or good familiarity with Excel and great attention to detail. Priority will be given to candidates who are open to the possibility of working on weekends.

***Prior real estate experience is NOT needed, but Candidate must be VERY DETAIL ORIENTED, self-motivated, able to follow instructions but also make proactive suggestions for procedure improvements. Must be responsible, accountable, take ownership of assignments, and get to know the business.***
