About This Job:
Silver Lining is looking for a Public Relations Manager (PR Manager) to activate a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs. We are looking for someone who is a great writer and who has an existing strong portfolio to reference and can step in when needed to perform writing/editing projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop a marketing communications plan and manage PR budgets, tactics, strategies, deadlines, objectives, and schedules.
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
  • Secure speaking opportunities for our CEO at conferences, events, seminars, interviews to position her as a thought leader.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
  • Plan publicity strategies and campaigns for current and existing products, launches, and promotions, campaigns, etc.
  • Develop and produce high-quality, informative, and interesting press kits, and related
  • Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Create content for byline articles, keynote presentations, content placement opportunities,
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and implement PR policies and procedures.
  • Develop or commission market research as needed.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to share all media coverage from PR activities.
  • Manage Media Archives & Website Media Centers.

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
  • Proofread copy for errors and inconsistencies in support of other company departments in reports, emails, and any other communication materials.
  • Develop content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
  • Write/Edit email copy to promote our products/services, connect with stakeholders through monthly newsletters, communicate with our clients, etc.

  • Create and edit original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets company needs and deadlines.
  • Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
Requirements & Qualifications:
● Must be a confident communicator and presenter
● Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
● Proven working experience in public relations required
● Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both
a local, national and international level
● Ability to create stories
● Ability to convert the information acquired into readable, easy-to-understand content
tailored to their specific audience.
● Experience doing research
● Excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation, and
● Strong writing and proofreading skills
