About This Job:
We are in need of a top performing HR Assistant to undertake a wide variety of HR administrative duties.
 
Salary: $2USD per hour during training (approximately 2-3 months) then increased to $3USD per hour after training. Paid biweekly.
 
Work Hours: 10pm-6am Phil Time.

If hired, a 1-year contract commitment is required. This is a long-term, full-time position.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day to day HR operations, functions, and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources as well as other departments.  
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Maintain calendars of the HR management team.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties. 
  • Assist with performance management procedures. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Typing speed of 30+ WPM 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with payroll management
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
 
Education and Experience:
  • Prior related office experience required.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field required
