About This Job:
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is expected to perform a variety of duties which support the operations of the company.  The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is expected to represent the company in a professional manner and help the company to carry out the best possible client and caregiver experience.

Ideal candidate will connect with the company mission and be able to use technology to interact. Utilizing Skype and Zoom to connect with staff.
Paid bi-weekly at $416 per 2 week pay period. Approximately $900 per month.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Administrative tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Answer each phone call in a friendly, professional manner and field appropriately as quickly as possible. Take messages when necessary.
  • Ask appropriate question of client inquiry callers to assess territory and pass it on to the proper Inquiry Specialist immediately.
  • Conduct pre-employment reference checks via phone and fax for all CAREGiver candidates
  • Ensure CAREGiver credentials (ex. auto insurance, driver's license) are up to date; follow-up with CAREGivers who have not provided updated information
  • Log all conversations with CAREGivers 
  • Answer calls from job applicants, conduct phone interviews, set up in person interviews 
  • Work with Outlook Calendar and Applicant Tracking System to move job applicants through the hiring process
  • Enter employee training pay into payroll system bi-weekly
  • Grow into other responsibilities as needed based on performance and company knowledge

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • This position must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Home Instead Senior Care. This position must demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and the ability to listen effectively. This position must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills. Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Past experience in an Administrative capacity.
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone. 
  • Able to take direction and follow up from various members of the department
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal
