Code for Asia is a social enterprise headquartered in Singapore since 2016 with the aim of making coding a literacy for all. We are looking for a Remote Assistant to support our work in the region.

Roles & Responsibilities:
You are expected to represent the company and maintain the highest standard of professionalism. We are looking for someone who is fast-learning and independent. Relevant training will be offered to support you in your position. Your role is to:
  • Generate content: write, edit, copy proof for a variety of media forms
  • Research and write proposals
  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Launch optimised online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Plan and edit videos
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimisation etc.)
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organise their distribution through various channels
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
  • Respond to emails and phone calls
  • Schedule meetings
  • Book travel and accommodations
  • Manage a contact list
  • Prepare customer spreadsheets and keep online records
  • Organise managers’ calendar
  • Perform market research
  • Create presentations
  • Address administrative queries
  • Provide customer service as needed
  • Send out requested information to customers
  • Handle client inquiries by phone or e-mail
  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
  • Prepare management accounts and handle financial reporting
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Open to all qualifications
  • Fluent English required, additional language capability a plus
  • Prior experience preferred
  • Technical and design skills preferred
  • Video editing skills preferred
  • You are expected to apply with your portfolio
Our recruitment process consists of an unpaid trial task -> shortlist for video interview -> paid tryout period -> 3 months contract, renewable to give you ample time to work with us to ascertain mutual fit. Pay is subject to increment over time and accumulated experience.
