Human Resources Assistant

Position: Part Time
About This Job:
Duties included but are not limited to the following disciplines: benefits, recruitment, employee relations, managing the HR calendar, compiling reports/spreadsheets, policy/contract management, payroll, union, and a variety of HR related systems.

 
 
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to prioritize and monitor work for quality.
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to HR management direction, and willingness to improve performance through HR Manager feedback.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and can quickly identify issues and resolve in a timely manner.
  • Must enjoy systems and will quickly learn HR related systems.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Prefer an HR related degree and/or 2+ years HR Assistant experience. Willing to train a new graduate.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – enjoys helping others daily with a smile.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization.
