About This Job:
The General Office Administrative Assistant is expected to perform a variety of duties which support the operations of the company.  The General Office Assistant is expected to represent the company in a professional manner and help the company to carry out the best possible client and caregiver experience.

Ideal candidate will connect with the company mission and be able to use technology to interact. Utilizing face time or Skype to connect with staff.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
Administrative tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Checking billing and payroll reports for all clients and CAREGivers
  • Confirming CAREGiver hours worked via a phone we will issue you
  • Assisting our Service Department with processing CAREGiver time off requests
  • Assisting our Service Department with scheduling client/CAREGiver introductions
  • Sending an office team email daily
  • Updating wage/rate charts annually
  • Product sourcing/pricing for marketing promotional giveaways
  • Provide utilization reports of CAREGivers who are available for more work
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • This position must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Home Instead Senior Care. This position must demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, excellent computer skills and the ability to listen effectively. This position must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills. Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Past experience in an Administrative capacity.
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone. 
  • Able to take direction and follow up from various members of the department
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to be connected to our main office via a video conferencing software during their work hours
