I'm going to let you in on a bit of a secret, most applicants never look at the actual job posting - SO... before we get started I want to lay out a few ground rules to actually get you in the door...
 
#1 - Read the entire listing, it will save you a lot of time & headache from the "Hunger Games" you'll be going through (I don't know if I got that reference right, but F-it...)
#2 - I Cuss... If you've got a problem with that... Keep looking, this company will fully repel you (or at least I will)
#3 - Somewhere in here is a secret code word that you'll need to include in your application... You'll put that into the 3rd question "other info you want us to know" - you can also add anything else in there, but it must start with the codeword...
 
BONUS TIP #1 - I love to have fun and work with people who are fun
BONUS TIP #2 - As a member of any company your "job" is not whatever you got hired for... it's to make the company a profit... that means you make the company more money than they spend for all expenses related to your role...
  • E.g. You must make us a 3x Profit within your first 90 days, and a 10x profit within 12 months to continue to have a position with us
  • "but some of the stuff I do doesn't make money?" - that may be true... but you can save us money - e.g. If someone in the company who makes more than you needs something done - and you can ultimately do it for less than they can... that increases profits for our company.
BONUS TIP #3 - I'm a marketer, so basically everything comes in 3 parts & the rest of are bonuses... and damn it if I don't create the best possible offer stack imaginable... LOL

Roles & Responsibilities:
Position: Technical & Operational Executive Assistant
Reports To: Hawk Mikado, CEO
Additional Supporting Role to: Kate Mikado - CHO (Chief Hawk Officer - I hold the vision, she makes sure it's running on time)
Role Type: PT to FT, 20hrs to 30hrs/week to start, 40hrs to 50hrs/week within 3 months
 
ROLE OVERVIEW:
  • Basically being a 2nd me... which is frankly driven a lot of people out of their minds... So be warned - but then again, you already read the above... So let's skip all that and get to the meat of it...
  • I want you to help me by doing the things that aren't a good use of my time. As my Executive assistant you're in charge of making sure I'm focused on the tasks that need to get done first, help me find vendors and new team members to off load work that both you and I don't want to do (or is more profitable to have someone else do) and ultimately, if you're performing well, you can help us increase profits because we'll be running more efficiently. Just as an example - today (as of writing this post) I worked on something that I use to pay $5/hr to someone in the Philippines for, it was basically copy & paste - so in my mind I wasted 2 hours working on something that could have been done by someone else and I could have spent those 2 hours on sales calls or building the slides for an upcoming sales presentation or done something that could have generated a large profit OR I could have spent that time with my daughter. In the beginning you'll probably end up doing some of these tasks, but ultimately I want you to help find others to take on these types of roles. (if you're wondering why I didn't have someone else do that... I'll answer it in the FAQs)
  • From a day to day perspective, you'll be running meetings, managing my calendar, and keeping track of projects to ensure they stay on track - acting in a supportive and administrative role when necessary to keep projects going.
 
RESPONSABILITIES:
  • Support Hawk to accomplish tasks that require immediate attention (basically you're reacting to me constantly - for that I apologize in advance)
  • Be a sounding board (yes, actually give me your thoughts - I love to debate... so let's get into it and take good ideas to make them F*ing EPIC Ideas)
  • Manage tasks & timelines of assigned projects to others on the team (In other words, be really annoying to people who have project deadlines coming up here soon... Especially Me! You must be able to remind me every single hour... on the hour until I get you what you've asked for)
  • Manage my calendar (Keep me booked with projects & client/prospect calls)
  • Remind me when I'm suppose to be doing something other than what I'm doing
  • Update Auto-Responders & Funnels (Don't worry, I'll give you Video SOP instructions)
  • Manage & Update and SOP Database for others
  • Responding to my emails & social media messages
  • Organizing files & content for clients
  • Taking copious notes on meetings when requested
  • Creating documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and content guides from videos/audios/meetings.
  • Fix my grammar (if you can't stand bad grammar, I'm not sure why you're still reading this - because I have terrible grammar)
  • Coordinating events and meetings with partners, vendors, and content contributors
  • Create/Make updates to Funnels & Automations (These are fairly simple 99% of the time + I'll give you easy to follow instructional videos)
  • (Help me) Enforce company policies with other team members
  • Keep informed on what's happening in the industry
  • Compile KPI, Metrics, Milestones and Financial reports for all departments and me.
 
EXPECTED RESULTS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
  • Run the following meetings: Daily deadlines, Weekly Workups, Monthly Metrics, Quarterly Cadence
  • Each team member knows exactly what they're working on, when it's due, and you've stayed on top of them to make sure it gets done.
  • Report work that was not delivered on time & demonstrate proper follow-up with said team member.
  • Help keep company culture focused on our impact driven mission.
  • Help continually increase profits quarter over quarter
  • Ensure that our accounting, tax & legal teams have all documents they need
  • Identify and Suggest new systems/processes to increase productivity/profit.
 
We assess abilities based on skill, not diplomas - I don't care if you went to school and got a degree if it's only theory - show me you know what you're doing.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ROLES:
  • You must speak fluent English
  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • You must be detail-oriented
  • You must be a self-starter
  • You must have deep knowledge and understanding of Internet Marketing
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • You must have some basic experience with ClickFunnels (or a similar drag & drop style landing page builder)
  • Must understand how autoresponders (like ActiveCampaign, Kartra, Infusionsoft, or similar) work
  • Must be able to manage multiple task & timelines
  • Work with me and other executives to ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Must be highly organized (and ideally enjoys using task/project management tools)
  • Must be able to deal with a Quickstart (Kolbe) and High D (DISC) personality as well my co-founder Kate, who is a High C (DISC) and Follow-Thru (Kolbe) - basically my exact opposite in every way possible.
  • Must have a people-first mindset, looking to create win-win-win relationships.
  • Be willing to talk to clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Take amazing high quality & detailed notes

Employee or Contractor?
Willing to hire employees or Contractors - we prefer 1099 for the US
 
Hours to work?
10 am to 6 pm pacific (may change during travel schedule)
 
How much can I earn in this position?
To start...
$12-15/hr ($2,000-$3,000/mo) more likely, but I'm willing to pay up to USD $20/hr ($3,500/mo) - US, CA, UK, AU based
$5-7/hr ($750-$1,500/mo) more likely, but I'm willing to pay up to USD $10/hr - Everywhere else
You can earn more, which is determined based on how much money you can save & how much profit you can help add to the company.
After your you get to LVL 5 (About 90ish days) we can renegotiate based on how much you're making the company.
 
Pay & Bonuses:
You submit your hours & expenses on the 1st & 16th, We process payments to all team, vendors, contractors, partners, etc on the 5th of the month for the prior month from the 16th till the EOM & the 20th of the month for the 1st to the 15th of that month. Payment arrives in most banks within 48 hours but may be longer.
We also pay out 10% of our Quarterly Profits to the team members who qualify. (5% split for profit generated, 5% split for hours worked - for LVL 5+)
Bonuses paid at each LVL earned & at specific levels you can ask for a raise or a one time bonus.
 
What's up with this Earning XP? LVLs? Gamification?
Every task you create / complete earns you XP, every minute you work on projects earns you XP, every profit generating idea earns you XP, every quest (basically read/watch/learn & complete a quiz) you complete earns you XP...
As you earn more XP you gain levels... You get your LVL 1 Completion badge after you finish the onboarding, you then earn XP accordingly - if you worked full time & played full out you would hit LVL 5 within 90 days...
When you hit LVL 5+ You can earn quarterly bonuses & every level also has special bonuses that come with it...
Oh - and there are hearts... You can lose hearts, if you lose too many you no longer work with us.
Plus we have Company Currency "FunnelBux" which can be used to earn double pay days, gift cards to your favorite stores, or even an (almost) all expenses paid vacation for you and your entire (immediate) family, and more...
 
Why am I hiring a new team?
Long story short, one of my former business partners and I split - the team was employed by her ... A few stayed on with me, but over time they left or were let go because it wasn't a fit anymore. We've tried to hire through multiple hiring agencies and it simply hasn't worked out because they were hiring for skill - I hire for culture, then skill. I'm happy to answer more questions if you've got when we get to that point in our interview process.
 
What does the interview process look like?
1. You apply (obvi)
2. If myself (or the person reviewing your application) feels like you're a fit for our company - you'll get a message on facebook messenger (yeah I don't do email if possible)
3. We have an informal get to know each other "phone interview"
4. If we both like each other after that call - we'll go over the next few steps of the process...
5. 5+ assessments, 2 Skills Tests (1st is 30m-1h unpaid & 2nd is 2-4 hours paid), & a final formal interview
6. If everything matches up, You get a formal offer
7. You accept that offer & complete your initial onboarding
