For the past 5 years, I have been running an online portal for retail investors. The company continues to run as a smaller enterprise but no longer requires much of my time. I wore many hats as COO, from editor-in-chief to product owner, project manager, recruiter, sales and online marketing. We may not have realized the scale of company we set out to achieve but it has undoubtedly been a massive learning experience in terms of running a company generally and in content and online marketing in the financial services/investment industry. Previously I worked as a head of sales and marketing departments for property developers building residential and commercial projects, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I was responsible for recruiting and managing the internal sales and marketing team, establishing external partnerships and sales networks as well as managing the marketing campaigns and putting together all marketing materials for the companies and projects.
