About Me
I am an experienced, hard working, friendly, quick learner. I grew up in an electronics shop in Berkeley, California, and turned that into a ten-year career in charge of all technology management for a medium sized Police and Fire Department. I also have over five years of experience doing volunteer, hourly, and retainer based tech support for private companies and non-profits. I have decided to travel with my wife and am now looking to join a team in need of someone with a broad range of IT experience, and who loves to help people in a remote setting. I was in charge of keeping 911 up and running as well as making sure any technology issue a police or fire officer had was taken care of quickly and professionally, 24/7. I made sure our servers were always up, and our operational security always beyond Department of Justice standards. I've performed forensic based ethical mobile device and desktop OS penetrations, rolled out Mobile Device Management systems along with managing and supporting IOS, Android, and Windows desktops, phones, and tablets. I have experience with Windows Server, AD, SQL, Azure, Office 365, Microsoft Security Essentials, Google cloud services/apps for work, I ran all crime statistical analysis, a drone program, and a whole host of different public safety and government proprietary databases and programs. I've also run group and individual training. I work well with help desks and am very familiar with ticketing systems and documentation.
